Soumya Singh is a partner at Thistle&Law LLP, advising startups, corporates, investors, and industry bodies on corporate and commercial law, arbitration, and cross-border business. She has represented clients in complex domestic and international arbitrations (SIAC, ICC, MCIA) and has advised on high-value M&A, venture financing, and regulatory compliance across multiple sectors.

Soumya is admitted to practice in India and holds an LL.M. in Corporate & Commercial Laws from WBNUJS, Kolkata, as well as a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. She is a first-generation lawyer with a strong focus on combining traditional dispute resolution expertise with modern, tech-driven legal solutions.

She regularly contributes to thought-leadership on arbitration, AI law, and ESG in M&A through Thistle Thursday and The Saturday Objection, and has written on evolving intersections of law, technology, and business. Soumya is also a member of the Delhi Bar Council and affiliated with arbitration networks and emerging legal-tech initiatives.

Outside of practice, Soumya enjoys literature, storytelling, and music, bringing the same curiosity and creativity to law as to life. 

Yukti Gupta, Partner at Thistle & Law LLP, specializes in litigation and intellectual property. Her practice spans civil and commercial disputes, white-collar crime, cybercrime, and contentious IP matters involving trademarks, designs, copyrights, and patents. She is deeply interested in emerging areas such as data privacy and artificial intelligence, recognizing their global impact on human rights and constitutional freedoms.

A second-generation lawyer, Yukti holds a B.B.A. LL.B. from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and an LL.M. in Criminology from NUJS, Kolkata. She places clients at the center of her work, ensuring trust, clarity, and direct access at every stage. For her, legal solutions succeed only when they align with the client’s growth and vision.

Yukti has represented clients in complex commercial litigation, contract enforcement, recovery matters, and family and property disputes. She also advises on white-collar crime, economic offenses, and bail proceedings, alongside trademark and design registrations and IP litigation. Her approach combines legal expertise with strategic, outcome-driven solutions.

Beyond law, Yukti is an ardent theatre artist, having trained with the National School of Drama. She brings creativity, empathy, and storytelling into her legal practice, making her work both impactful and innovative.
